Les Eisner has joined Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, it was announced today by Shannon Ryan, Executive Vice President, Marketing & Communications, Fox Television Group, to whom Eisner will report.

Eisner will serve as a liaison between the network and the press on corporate matters, including ratings performance, senior executive initiatives and industry-wide developments. In addition, he will act as a spokesperson for FBC on behalf of senior management and will participate in strategic planning for the FOX brand.

Most recently, Eisner was Vice President of Corporate Communications for A+E Networks, where since 2009, he was responsible for trade and business media relations for A+E Studios, the company’s in-house production unit, and Lifetime, as well as all program ratings press outreach on behalf of A+E Networks’ entire portfolio. Eisner also managed numerous awards campaigns for the company, resulting in record-setting Emmy Awards nominations for Lifetime in 2009, 2013 and 2014, and the network’s first ever Peabody Award nomination and AFI Award Television Program of the Year honor – both for the acclaimed drama “UnREAL.” 

Eisner joined Lifetime after serving as Executive Vice President at The Lippin Group since 2007. There, he handled a wide range of global and domestic clients spanning television, film and new media, including Starz Entertainment and Starz Media, Mar Vista Entertainment, Granada America (now ITV America), Kodak Digital Cinema, the Independent Film & Television Alliance and the American Film Market.

Prior to The Lippin Group, from 2004 to 2007, Eisner was Vice President of Media Relations at 20th Television and MyNetworkTV, during which he supervised the corporate communications and program publicity activities for all of 20th Television’s first-run and off-network syndicated series. In conjunction with Fox Television Stations, he also was involved with all press initiatives for the 2006 launch of MyNetworkTV.

Mr. Eisner began his corporate communications career at The Lippin Group in 1994, when he started as an assistant and rose to Executive Vice President in 2003.  During his first stint with the company, he represented such organizations as DirecTV, Hallmark Channel/Crown Media, the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE), Sky Latin America, Tribune Entertainment, Channel 4 International, Carlton America and Carlton International.  He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in film studies.
