Daniela Neumann has been running award-winning international production company Spun Gold TV for over ten years. The company has successfully expanded into multiple new genres as well as making shows for new broadcasters in the UK and US. Daniela has diversified the company’s output, including factual entertainment, entertainment, reality, factual and features. Having seen through her company strategy to create more IP, formats and returning series, the company has grown more than three times in size.

Before moving back into production Daniela was Controller Entertainment for ITV1, where she oversaw shows like Dancing on Ice, I’m a Celebrity and Piers Morgan Life Stories. Daniela was also Commissioning Editor Factual for ITV1.

Prior to this, Daniela was Controller ITV2, responsible for the brand extension strategy with shows like Xtra Factor and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now, which has been copied on many other channels. 

As Director of Programmes VMTV, Virgin 1, Bravo, Bravo 2 and Challenge, Daniela oversaw the multiple channels commissioning, acquisitions and marketing. Daniela started her career as a journalist before going on to produce and direct in all genres including drama, documentaries and entertainment.
