A former award-winning journalist for the Los Angeles Times, Daniel Cerone established his reputation as a premier drama writer as the showrunner of Dexter, where his early work on the Showtime crime thriller was honored with a distinguished Peabody Award for excellence and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama. Daniel went on to create the cult favorite Constantine for NBC, as well as the critically acclaimed crime drama Motive for ABC. His extensive writing and executive producing credits over the years include Charmed, The Mentalist and The Blacklist, where he most recently served as co-showrunner.
