Aaron Douglas was born in New Westminster, British Columbia. He chose the path of Film and TV in his late 20’s and has had a tremendously successful career spanning nearly 25 years. He is best known for his portrayal of Chief Galen Tyrol on the Emmy Award-winning Battlestar Galactica. Most recently he was seen as Otis Winthrop on the series The Watchful Eye and as Colonel Jarett in Motherland: Fort Salem.

Aaron has well over 100 other Film/TV & Video Game credits on his impressive resume, including working alongside Brian Cox and Hugh Jackman in X-Men 2, Will Smith in iRobot, Ben Affleck in Paycheck and Man About Town, Uma Thurman in Paycheck and Imposters, Vin Diesel in The Chronicles of Riddick, Stargate SG-1, The Bridge, Hellcats, Hemlock Grove, The Killing, The Returned, Falling Skies, The Strain, iZombie, Supernatural, The Flash, Once Upon a Time, Dirk Gently Holistic Detective Agency, Imposters, Fort Salem, Van Helsing, Jordi Chin in Ubisoft’s WatchDogs and much more.

He has also created and written four graphic novels for AfterShock Comics and is currently working on his fifth. The first of a three-book series called Borealis was released by Dark Horse Comics in December 2023.
