Nick Orchard started his producing career as Associate Producer on BBC’s flagship EastEnders, the most highly rated series ever produced for British television, following that with various BBC mini-series and Channel 4’s number one rated Brookside. In total, Nick produced over 400 episodes of television in the U.K. Soon after he formed Soapbox Productions and created and produced four seasons of the multiple award-winning drama Northwood for the CBC and Sweden’s Sveriges Television, following that with multiple dramas, comedies and documentaries for broadcasters around the world including Double Exposure for CTV and the Comedy Network, MOW’s The New Beachcombers and A Beachcombers Christmas for CBC and most recently is the founding producer of Murder in a Small Town for FOX, Global and ITV, for which he secured the underlying rights 30 years ago. Currently in development is An Animated Beachcombers in partnership with Ryan Reynold’s Maximum Effort and the CBC.
