Jason “Foxy” Fox joined the Royal Marines Commandos in 1992 at the age of 16. In 2001, he joined the Special Boat Service and reached the rank of Sergeant. He has planned and led operations including hostage rescue, counter terrorism, counter insurgency, maritime counter terrorism, surveillance, body guarding and counter narcotic missions to name a few of his many impressive achievements. Fox also is trained as a Special Forces swimmer and diver, explosives expert, dog handler and jungle survival expert. Foxy was part of the team of divers who found the lost treasure of Captain Kidd – one of the most prolific pirates of the 17th century – just off the coast of Madagascar. After 20 years of military service, Fox was medically discharged in 2012 after being diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and is currently a mental health advocate. Since leaving the military, Foxy co-founded Rock to Recovery, which aims to assist returning servicemen, veterans and their families. He then joined the cast of “SAS: Who Dares Wins” in 2015 as a Directing Staff.

Outside of his military career, some of Fox's bigger adventures include rowing across the Atlantic Ocean from Lagos, Portugal to Macuro, Venezuela in 2016. It took the crew 50 days over 3,308 nautical miles and landed them a record for becoming the first team to row unsupported, crossing the Atlantic Ocean from east to west - from mainland Europe to South America, non-stop from mainland to mainland.
