Trista Sutter became a well-known name back in 2002 when she appeared on the very first season of the long-running hit show, The Bachelor.  As Alex Michel’s second choice, her heart was broken but not for long, as she was given the opportunity to turn the tables as the OG Bachelorette, where she went on to meet the love of her life, Ryan Sutter.  A year after they decided to tie the knot, they were married in a televised special that drew in over 26 million viewers, making it one of the most-widely viewed episodes in the history of reality television. Then, in 2007, they became parents to Max and 20 months later, became a family of four with the arrival of their daughter, Blakesley.

Since 2003, Sutter has been busy as a stay-at-home-and-work mom (Max and Blakesley are now in high school), working as a spokesperson, author (Happily Ever After: The Life-Changing Power of a Grateful Heart), speaker (TedX Vail, “The Value of YOU”), influencer and podcast host (Better, Etc in 2020 and Almost Famous: OGs since 2021).  She has been featured on countless television and radio shows, podcasts and in magazine articles and blogs, has appeared on the inaugural seasons of Dancing with the Stars and Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars, and has been given the beloved nickname of “Fairy Godmother” to Bachelor Nation - a name she will forever embrace with heart and gratitude.
