Marion Jones is widely considered to be one of the greatest athletes of all time. She became the first woman to win five medals in a single Olympics when she won three gold and two bronze for track and field in the 2000 Summer Games in Sydney, Australia. She attended the University of North Carolina, where she starred as a point guard on the basketball team and helped lead the team to the NCAA Women's Championship in 1994 in her freshman year.

Jones has appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, Vogue and Sports Illustrated.  Her accomplishments landed her interviews on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Late Night with David Letterman, The Rosie O' Donnell Show and Good Morning America, to name a few. She secured millions in endorsement deals from Nike, Gatorade, “Got Milk” and others and became a household name.

Though Jones never tested positive in any drug test, she was hounded by rumors after the Sydney Olympics. In October 2007, she confessed that she had lied to a grand jury when she stated that she had never taken Performance Enhancing Drugs.  She was sentenced to six-months in jail for perjury and began serving that sentence in March 2008.  The scandal covered over 20 professional athletes, yet Jones was the only athlete to serve a prison sentence.  Jones voluntarily chose to return her medals, take full responsibility for her actions and apologized to her fans around the world. She used her experience to serve as an example of no matter how far you fall, you can always get back up.

In 2010, just four months after the birth of her third child, Jones used her resolve to make an impressive come back to competitive sports, whipping herself back into basketball shape and earning a roster spot on the WNBA's Tulsa Shock.  That same year she published her book with Simon and Schuster and launched her campaign to help youth make better decisions.  Her last decade has been spent in the pursuit of helping others see they can accomplish more than they think and win no matter what the circumstances. The fastest woman on the planet is now a speaker, entrepreneur, media personality, and an expert trainer and coach on the subject of winning. She is a loving mother and a tireless advocate for the development of greatness in people in pursuit of their goals. She is certain. She is brilliant. She is generous.  She is absolutely captivating. She is a living, walking daily example of resilience and a master of the art and science of winning. She is the legend - Marion Jones.
